Meet the Founders

Christopher Frykman D.C., R.N.
and Shamanie

Chris, DC, RN and his wife Shamanie, a former Doctor of Chiropractic with years of experience in functional medicine, have seen the dramatic impact of treating nutritional deficiencies head-on. Through their work, they discovered that oral supplements often fall short—mostly because compliance drops and absorption is limited. Bottles in the cupboard don’t raise nutrient levels. IV therapy does.

With nutrient IVs, everything is 100% bioavailable—and patients feel the difference. Chris and Shamanie understand the toll chronic illness can take on quality of life, both personally and professionally.

That’s why they’ve partnered with Dr. Josiah Nelson, MD, who serves as medical director of Driip IV, to provide patients with the highest standard of care in IV Nutrient Therapy. Their mission is to help you restore your health from the inside out and reclaim your energy, focus, and vitality

What are the benefits of an IV treatment?

Each IV recipe has been scientifically crafted in a way that allows us to restore energy and balance in the body by targeting the root cause of an individual’s specific health issue. Thus, each drip contains varying amounts of certain nutrients, making it unique to serve its own beneficial purpose. Infusing various vitamins or antioxidants directly into the bloodstream will achieve blood levels as much as ten times higher than possible with oral vitamin intake. This makes intravenous (IV) infusions effective in treating a wide range of medical issues, from chronic conditions such as fatigue, Lyme disease, or any serious illness, to acute conditions such as infections, migraines, asthma or muscle spasm.

The idea of infusing high doses of vitamins intravenously was pioneered by the late Dr. John Myers, a physician from Baltimore, Maryland, who up until his passing in 1984 infused thousands of patients with his unique formulation of vitamins. Since that time his original formula has been modified and other formulas created for a wide variety of diseases – but the basic formula has remained, used successfully by hundreds of physicians, and is known as the “Myer’s cocktail”. Thousands of research articles have been published expanding Dr Myers work proving the therapeutic effects of IV nutrient therapy.

In addition to treating and/or managing various illnesses and diseases, IV therapies also aid in alleviating the cumulative effects of dehydration. Symptoms of dehydration may vary, but include headache, fatigue, muscle cramps or weakness, feeling dizzy or lightheaded, constipation, blurred vision, and dark yellow urine.

How often can I get an IV treatment?

Your IV treatments should be tailored to your intentions as well as your body’s demand. If you’re unsure where to start, rest assured that our licensed medical providers will assist you in customizing your treatments to get the maximum benefit. Depending on the intentions behind the IV, you can receive treatments 1-2x per week, biweekly, or monthly.
