What to Expect at Your Treatment
Your treatment begins in our office with a simple blood draw and a finger-prick test to determine platelet levels. Your blood is then processed to isolate and concentrate the platelets to your personalized therapeutic level. Once prepared, the platelet infusion is administered intravenously.
The session takes about an hour. For optimal results, we recommend a minimum of 4 sessions, 8-12 weeks apart.
Because we use your own blood, the risks are minimal. Some patients experience mild flu-like symptoms as their body adjusts.
